Bi-weekly Zoom Meetings
On the first Thursday morning and the third Thursday morning of each month Compassionate Partners, individuals and guest presenters meet over Zoom to share what they are doing to enhance compassion in Pomona. Monthly Partner Events
The City of Pomona & Compassionate Pomona (CP) partners host a number of innovative events and activities each month for children, families and the general public. Some of these include the Peace Quilt, coffee with the Police, Character Champion Kids puppet shows, service club fundraisers, Zero to Five initiatives, Tri-City wellness programs and PUSD middle and high school activities such as Sky Breathing classes - just to name a few.

FAQs
Is Compassionate Pomona part of City government?
No, CP is a private entity that comes under the Charter for Compassion and Compassionate California. We are not a 501C nor a corporation. We are a cooperative of individuals, non-profit organizations, the school district and City employees dedicated to compassion and kindness.
How is Compassionate Pomona related to Unity of Pomona?
The official residency of CP is at Unity Church located on Pasadena Street in Pomona. There is no legal relationship between the two organizations. Due to the collaborative and virtual nature of our partnerships, we chose the Church to be our physical mailing address.
Is there any formal process to become a Compassionate Pomona Partner?
Although there is no formal process to joining our organization, we do ask interested parties to contact us to discuss their vision and mission, intended future involvement and overall goals for working within the compassionate movement.
