Our Vision

Weaving belonging and compassion
throughout our community by collaborative actions.

Our Mission

Provide Pomona citizens with caring and kind connections to each other, the city and the region while enhancing communications to allow a group of committed individuals to work together for a more compassionate world.

Our City

Incorporated in 1888, Pomona became a charter City in 1911 and established as a Compassionate City in 2018. Pomona is the seventh largest city in Los Angeles County, built on strong indigenous and agricultural roots. Today the population has grown to over 150,000 residents. Pomona is a city with a bright vision for its future and is dedicated to the quality of life for our diverse community. The mission of the City of Pomona is to improve the quality of life for our people and community.
