(POMONA, CA) The Charter for Compassion, Compassionate California, Compassionate Pomona, and the Character Champions Foundation announce the release of Character Champion, What Do You See? by Dr. K. and Erica WalkingStick. Join character champions Lucy, Martin, Ben, and Marie as they discover compassion and empathy and learn about COVID-19. Now available for free on the Compassionate Pomona website.

Character Champion, What Do You See? features 34 pages of illustrations and is available in both color and black and white editions. Readers can visit the Character Survey to discover their character champion.

Diana Chavez Ketterman is Ph.D. is a Licensed Educational Psychologist, born and raised in the city of Pomona, California. She attended Pomona Unified School District for 12 years before pursuing her postsecondary studies at Cal Poly Pomona. She is the creator of the “Character Champions” program.

Erica WalkingStick is a book author and designer, and Vice President, Director of Arts and Publications for Character Champions Behavioral Health Services. She is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.
