“ASB sponsored a food drive for families of need at our school. They collected and organized dry and canned food for five families in need. Six members of the Social Justice club on Monday, November 25th took part in an effort to help Family Support Services to organize their supply pantry. They were part of a service learning collaborative which consisted of multiple schools.”
Type of Project: Poster & Activity
“The ASB created posters to promote their Thanksgiving drive to donate dry and canned food for those in need as a way of giving thanks for all that they had. The collection was to signify giving back to others since they were grateful for what they had. The Social Justice club is about giving back to help an organization such as Family Support Services who gives assistance to families in need. The students are expressing their gratitude for what they had and helping others that aren’t as fortunate.”
